Bishop Carter to preach at Lifewatch Service of Worship at the United Methodist Building in Washington, DC – January 22nd

“……… I am emailing you [the Florida Lifewatch and the Florida United Methodist Evangelicals] concerning a January 22 Lifewatch service of Worship, at which the [Florida Conference] bishop, Ken Carter, will be the preacher.

“The Lifewatch website (www.lifewatch.org) has the details on the January 22 service in DC.

“It could be really helpful, and encouraging for your bishop to lead forward in a positive direction, if a delegation of pro-life Florida UMs were willing to make the trek up to DC to hear Bishop Carter preach and express their support, hopefully have a little time to interact with him, and then personally participate in the march itself.

“I understand that people have busy schedules. But this seems like a special time of opportunity, where the presence of even a very small number of people would be greatly appreciated.        While I myself will not be able to make it from Chicago, IRD’s president (and UM Action’s founder) Mark Tooley will be there, as will likely another IRD staffer.

“Please let me know what you think, and spread the word! J

“Yours in Christ,    John”
